Awesome Batman Tribute

Tue Sep 8, 2009, 5:29 PM
  • Mood: Satisfied
  • Listening to: The Offspring
  • Reading: Harry Potter
  • Playing: Halo 3
For some reason I just felt the urge to share this sweet video I found on YouTube. The gentleman who made it did a great job showing the highlights of the current six live action flicks (No, no clips from the any Bat-movie pre-80s, sorry)

It even includes what I thought was the only good Mr. Freeze moment in Batman & Robin, so a thumbs up for that. And props for leaving out the (literally) retarded Bane. *shudders*

I would have added just two or three things to it, but over all it was rather sweet!

Not a lot to say at the moment, since I'm still recovering...

Just... wow...

I almost walked out. More than once. It was a constant array of "It can't get any worse then this!"

And then it did.

I'll probably do an indepth review later, no doubt video recorded. But right now this all I can write without going off into mindless rambling.

Wow...

I'm currently looking for someone who could draw some certain Star Wars pics for me and my friends as either a request or commission.

If any of you guys know of anyone who has mad Star Wars art skills, please let me know!

Thanks :)

Just doing a little reflecting here today....

A year ago I was a pretty different person then I am now. I'm not talking about the surface, thou that has changed, but on the inside I was rather messed up. A very sad and lost child.

I know I'm risking emo jokes talking about this (looking at you Sqwee!) but that's just how I was. Shitty school life, shitty social life, and a shitty home life. I didn't really have much going for me, and to tell the truth I almost gave up on everything. I just didn't see the point to anything. One day fallowed the next, in a seemingly endless void (bite your tongue Sqwee!).

But then I met someone. Someone who's had the largest effect on my life then I think anyone else I've ever met has.

I'd been on dA for a few months by then but hadn't talked to her at all, even though everyone seemed to love her. So one day I guessed I'd figure out what the big deal was about her and in a rare act of boldness posted a very odd comment on her page. (Something about mind control, giant moths and talking monkeys I think)

She played along to my shock, and we went into a very long bit of randomness. Something just kinda clicked between us I guess, talking to her just felt so natural. We then went from dA comments to chatting on MSN allot. This went on for months and we grew closer and closer together. I got to find out all the interesting things about her and her life, and she was always there to give me good advice whenever I needed it. And I was always there for her when she was distressed. All in all, it was just really fun talking with her, it became the highlight of my day.

In the spring we exchanged phone numbers and began talking allot on the phone. (and I mean ALLOT! Good thing I've got a good long distance plan, eh?) Before I knew it she'd had become one of the most important people in my life, and for some reason (don't ask me why) I became very special to her as well.

I left that random comment on her page a year ago today, it started a relationship that changed me for the better in so many ways. I'm happier, stronger, wiser, and an all around fun person to be around.

So thank you Ivy Mae LeVangie. Thank you for being so sweet, so funny, so smart, so fascinating, so creative, so talented, so loving, so beautiful, so delightful, so cute, so dorky, so radiant, so sensational, so sexy, so superb, so fantastic, so lush, so marvelous, so.... you :)

Thank you for being my best friend, and being the reason why I wanna keep living.

So yeah, I try not to be so emotional but today's an exception. Even guys are aloud to have them from time to time. So NAA ;P!

I have been tagged by

The Rules:

The 1st player of this "game" starts with the topic "6 weird habits/things/hates about yourself" and people who get tagged MUST write a journal about their 6 weird habits/things/hates as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says "you are tagged" in their devpage comments and tell them to read yours...

1. I've been known to walk into a room doing the Robot.
2. I HATE ketchup chips. That shit's like Kryptonite to me!
3. Most of the time no hears my best insults. I hate that!
4. Sometimes when I first wake up in the morning, I like to narrate a flash-back of what's happened so far in my life.
5. I enjoy going into long, random, Master Shake-like rants, that have no real meaning besides amusing myself. :D
6. I have a 15 foot long scarf! Bitchin'!

Tagging: Just one person, cause I'm a rebel! Yeah!
